It Rains Fishes!: Legends, traditions & the joys of Thai cooking
by Kasma Loha-Unchit

Kasma Loha-unchit, a native of Thailand , has taught Thai cooking in her own home-based cooking school in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1985. A marketing analyst for many years, Kasma's interest in the healing professions led her to study Western psychology, Oriental medicine and the practices of various spiritual traditions. Eventually, she chose cooking and working with people as her life's work. Her first book, ‘It Rains Fishes: Legends, Traditions, and the Joys of Thai Cooking', won the 1996 IACP Award for Best International Cookbook. Believing food to be inseparable from culture, Kasma encourages the discovery of the joys and the healing nature of working with food. Kasma's cooking tours to Thai villages are a learner's delight.
