Poetry and the arts being a reflection of life and humanity in its closest form, are portals, to not merely the aesthetics and wonder of the universe, but gateways to a sublime and powerful world of knowledge and philosophical ruminations. They are archives of history, recording every aspect of life, from the beauty of an eclipse to the eclipse of humanity.

In a world becoming increasingly hostile, with commerce and war pounding relentlessly on our eardrums, it is reassuring to know that there are some people out there who still invest in the “useless” act of reading poetry or engage in a work of art for its truth and beauty, and not merely for its value at auction houses. Poetry is word-mapping, and art in its many forms, a manifestation of all our sensibilities. Both being compulsions, I have surrendered my life to their limitless skies.
