Feeling a responsibility to nature, in the hope of a sustainable planet where we breathe pure air, I share my concerns and hope to touch people’s conscience. Having spent almost 14 years as a seafarer on ships that were chemical carriers, I have seen how brutally nature is being polluted; besides, every seaman was exposed to toxic health hazards by their proximity to chemicals. I was thus inspired to exit from this profession and to document instead, the critical causes for environmental destruction.
